I’m a postdoctoral researcher at the Centre for Logic and Philosophy of Science in Brussels, and a Research Associate of the Digital Ethics Lab at the Oxford Internet Institute (University of Oxford).
I have worked on topics in philosophical logic and the philosophy of information, and have also an interest in mathematical practice, and the impact of ICT's on how we collaborate in research. My current research project is on The Logics of Information Visualisation, on which I started working as a Marie Skłodowska Curie Fellow at the University of Oxford.
My previous projects were on logical discrimination, and its relation to informational conceptions of logical consequence, and on the role of abstraction and idealisation in formal epistemologies.
I am a collecting editor of the journal Logique & Analyse. As of 2015 I am an associate editor for Logic and Technology of the journal Philosophy and Technology, and associate editor for the Philosophical Studies Book Series. I also maintain the Information Theory leaf-category at Philpapers.
During the second semester of 2013-14 I was a guest professor of Ghent University.
I have also been affiliated to the Oxford University Research Group on the Philosophy of Information (IEG), and am a founding member and current chair of the Society for the Philosophy of Information.
Apart from this website, you can also find information about my research on my ORCID, Philpapers and Google Scholar profiles.
